Lakehouse Chifferobe

I built this cabinet in November of 2015 for our lake house.  The room that the cabinet is intended for is small so I have trimmed the dimensions somewhat to fit the space.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp model for this cabinet can be seen HERE.

Greg's Gun Cabinet

I built this Oak cabinet in December of 2014 for my son Greg.  The cabinet was designed to hold 10 guns.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp model for this cabinet can be seen HERE.

Router Table Cabinet

I built this cabinet in May of 2014 to replace one that I had built several years ago that was not quite as nice and was a bit too high. The cabinet was designed and built to fit a Craftsman Router Table.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp model for this cabinet can be seen HERE.

Honeoye End Table

This end table was designed and built for our lake house on Honeoye Lake. Although the SketchUp drawing was done using mortise and tenon joinery, I built the table using pocket screw joinery.  The table was built using poplar wood and stained.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

American Girl Doll School Chair

I built two of these School Chairs for my Granddaughter's American Girl Doll during December of 2013.  She loves to play school so these were a perfect Christmas gift.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Tool Chest - 6 Drawer Cabinetmaker's

I designed and built this Cabinetmakers tool chest in October of 2013. The majority of the construction technique is frame and panel.  The cabinet is constructed using Pine with Popular drawer fronts. The overall dimensions are 20"W x 10"D x 15 7/8" H. The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Doll Armoire

I built this Doll Armoire in September of 2013 based on a request from my 9 year old Granddaughter.  She provided the input for the basic design which was to be used for her American Girl doll.  The color of choice was white with purple accents.  The overall dimensions are 26"W x 10"D x 33" H.  The case work, center divider and doors were built using frame and panel construction.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Workbench

This workbench was made in December of 2012.  It was part of the "recreation" of my new workshop.  Knowing that the workbench is a primary necessity of any workshop, It was first on my "new workshop" to-do list.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Pegboard Tool Cabinet

This Tool Cabinet was made in March of 2013 and was also part of my workshop "recreation". While setting up the new workshop many of my hand tool were still being stored in boxes, which was driving me crazy. This was 2nd on my "new workshop" to-do list.  The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Outfeed Table

I made this table in March of 2013 as part of my workshop "recreation". After making the workbench and Pegboard Tool Cabinet it didn't take me long to realize that an out feed table needed to be 3rd on my "new workshop" to-do list.  I designed this table to be multi-functional as an outfeed for the table saw and an additional work and assembly table. The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Miter Saw Cabinet

I made this cabinet in April of 2013 as part of my workshop "recreation". This was the last of the shop cabinets to be made.  I designed this cabinet from other ideas that I found on the web, taking what I thought were good functional design ideas. The cabinet has collapsible side wings as a space saving design.   The construction notes, photos and SketchUp Model can be seen HERE.

Toy Chest & Bookshelf

This combined toy chest and bookshelf was made in April of 2011 to fit into the loft area in our lake house.  The SketchUp Model is available for download HERE.  Construction photos can be seen HERE.

This end table was made in March of 2011 for our lake house.  The end table has a mid-shelf with a lower drawer and the front and side rails are arched and lower legs are tapered. The rails were attached using pocket-hole screws rather than mortise and tenon joinery.  The SketchUp Model is available for download HERE.  Construction photos can be seen HERE.
